Award-winning Victoria Park is the jewel in East London’s crown. Boasting over 86 hectares / 213 acres, it is one of London's largest and most popular green spaces.
Part of London’s buzzing East End, ‘Vicky Park’ is well used by Tower Hamlets and Hackney residents. An estimated 12 million visitors enjoy the park each year.
The park has a variety of open spaces suitable for many different events. It is ideal for events including sports activities, brand activations, corporate and private events, to large-scale commercial festivals.
Please see below for information about bookable spaces. Please note we are only accepting applications for events up to 4,999 capacity at any one time.
The Park
The children’s play parks, boating lakes and skate park attract families and young people. The many sports facilities, including football pitches, tennis courts and outdoor gyms are well used.
The weekend artisan markets are popular with the area’s young professionals, creatives and makers. Cyclists can also make use of the many Santander docking stations around the park.
Grove Road divides the park in two contrasting areas, the east and west sides.

Victoria Park is well connected from all over London and beyond. Mile End and Bethnal Green tube stations and Cambridge Heath and Hackney Wick Overground stations are within walking distance. These give easy access to Stratford and central London as well as the Overground network.
Festivals
Victoria Park is one of London’s most iconic festival locations, hosting events from Rock Against Racism in 1978 to Lovebox and Field Day in recent years.
A much sought-after festival site, it has seen performances by some of the world’s biggest acts including The Clash, Radiohead, Snoop Dogg and Tiësto. It is currently home to All Points East, a music festival featuring major headliners from Björk to The Strokes.
History
Nicknamed “The People’s Park”, the park opened in 1845 to promote health and wellbeing for the East End. Victoria Park was the world’s first park designed to meet the needs of the local community.
In 2011 the park won £12 million from the Heritage Lottery Fund for extensive renovations. These included the Chinese Pagoda, the Burdett Coutts fountain and a new Hub building.
In 2021 Victoria Park won a Green Flag People’s Choice award for the eighth year running. The People’s Choice award is a public vote to find the top 10 parks and green spaces in England.
Today, Victoria Park is a fantastic location and continues to go from strength to strength.
