The gardens are the focal point of Arnold Circus, the meeting point of seven tree lined avenues. The Boundary Estate has great historic significance as one of London’s first social housing estates. Built in the late 19th Century, it replaced the notorious ‘Old Nichol’ slum.
The distinctive red brick Arts and Crafts style inspired many later housing developments. The gardens are a Historic England Park and Garden of Special Historic Interest. Some park features are Grade II listed.
Enclosed by a wrought iron fence, the gardens have an intimate atmosphere. Steps lead up from the main compass points to two raised terraces and a bandstand. This unique and secluded green space is perfect for small corporate and creative events. The gardens are not wheelchair accessible.
